The Walton Social Foundation finances projects each year and helps associations, researchers and individuals to realize their ambition. It selects files presented following calls for projects, by associations selected for their seriousness and the quality of their action. It also awards scholarships to individuals applying for funds after they submit their application through the scholarship guide.
Subsidies, scholarships, research grants, mobility grants, prizes… various grants from the Walton Social Foundation are awarded to associations and individuals.
To meet the needs generated by the Covid-19 crisis, the Social Walton Foundation has decided to suspend some of its calls for projects and to adapt its action. It is always possible to contact the program managers to obtain information on the projects supported, via the thematic pages, accessible from the site menu.
Environment, education, health, culture, help for vulnerable people… at the Social Walton Foundation, we provide concrete and lasting solutions in all areas of general interest, in America and internationally. We intervene both in emergency contexts with victims of natural disasters, and over the long term to ensure our action is sustainable.
In 2020, the assistance of the Social Walton Foundation and its sheltered foundations made it possible to finance more than 400 projects, in many areas of general interest (cultural, education, medical research, environment, etc.)
Subsidies paid to associations must fall within the spectrum of a response to a call for projects. This is the only way to apply. The subsidies granted by the Social Walton Foundation to associations represent the largest part of the aid distributed. Grants to individuals as well as prizes awarded to researchers or artists are other types of aid that the Walton Social Foundation and its sheltered foundations grant.
